Bio

Mr. Rivera is a mission-driven healthcare leader passionate about building bridges between hospitals, communities, and technology to improve access, outcomes, and equity. With over a decade of experience across clinical operations, digital transformation, consulting, and strategic partnerships, he specializes in driving systems-level change in complex healthcare environments.

He has led multi-site departments as an Operations Manager I at Kaiser Permanente, optimized performance as a Managerial Consultant for ambulatory scheduling services across 60+ departments, and advised on contact center technology. Currently, Mr. Rivera serves as Strategic Partnerships Chair for the Southern California Chapter of the National Association of Latino Healthcare Executives, is a National Community Advisory Board Member for Kaiser Permanente’s Research Bank, and works as a Medication Technician at a 205-bed assisted living facility while pursuing his nursing credential.

Mr. Rivera is a certified Lean Six Sigma Healthcare Professional. He holds a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management from Western Governors University and a Bachelor of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Seattle Pacific University.

In fairness, I attended the class in person. My rating was based on experiencing the dynamic surveys and conversations. Great learning and powerful messages from the facilitators. Would recommend to all!
