Bio

Allen Tai is the Head of Human Resources for Collins Aerospace Landing Systems, a global leader in producing integrated systems that enable aircraft to land and stop safely, including landing gear assemblies, wheels, brakes, and integrated control systems. In this role, he leads a global HR team responsible for talent strategies, organizational health, rewards planning, and employee engagement. He works closely with business leaders and HR partners across RTX Corporation/Collins Aerospace to deliver people solutions that support both immediate operational needs and long-term growth.

Allen brings 20 years of HR leadership experience across Fortune 500 companies, spanning aerospace, defense, and industrial sectors. His career includes senior HR roles at L3Harris Technologies, where he helped stand up a new innovation-focused business unit and led HR through multiple divestitures, as well as several global HR leadership positions at Collins Aerospace in Aftermarket Services, Digital Technologies, OEM Programs, and Engineering. Earlier in his career, he held HR leadership roles with Panasonic Corporation, including an international assignment in Shanghai overseeing HR operations and EHS for multiple sites.

Throughout his career, Allen has been deeply involved in culture transformation, organizational design, and talent development. He has guided businesses through large-scale change initiatives, including M&A integrations, business expansions, and workforce transformations. Known for his inclusive leadership style, he is passionate about building strong teams, fostering employee engagement, and coaching leaders to unlock organizational performance.

Born and raised in China, Allen began his journey in the U.S. as an international student. That experience shaped his commitment to creating inclusive cultures where diverse perspectives are valued. He holds both a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Stony Brook University. He also completed executive education programs at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business and Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.

Outside of work, Allen enjoys exploring new restaurants with his wife and discovering new activities with their kids around the Dallas area, where they currently reside.
