Cheryl Biagini

Senior Director, Northrop Grumman Corporation

Bio

Cheryl Biagini is a Senior Director responsible for establishing a product line for the Advanced Weapons business unit. In this role, she will create an organization that will deliver reliable, affordable, quality missiles to the warfighter and ultimately expand the advanced weapons in the product portfolio.

Prior to that, Biagini was the Advanced Programs Operating Unit Director where she had profit and loss responsibility for the Stand-in Attack Weapon (SiAW) as well as other advanced concepts and capability programs.

Prior to Northrop Grumman, Biagini has 25 years in Aerospace and Defense where she was a program manager on several programs to include Hypersonic Attack Cruise Missile(HACM), Multi-Azimuth Defense Fast Intercept Round Engagement System (MAD-FIRES),and AMRAAMÂź Form Fit Function Refresh (F3R) Transition to Production (TTP) & Test Equipment (TE). She also held functional leadership roles in Electrical Supplier Engineering where she managed over $1B in material spend over 200 global suppliers who specialized in CCAs, IMU, GPS, Data Links, Electronics, RF and EO Products. Biagini also led the RF Products and Technologies department in the Electrical Subsystems Directorate in Engineering where she was responsible for RF / microwave products across the entire lifecycle from design and development through production and sustainment.

Biagini was honored with the “Managerial Leadership in Industry” award at the Women of Color STEM Conference in 2017. She earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Polytechnic University, Farmingdale and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst
